A pair of our two-year-old fillies enjoying an hour out in the field this afternoon.
22/02/22
Dandy Dinmont and Lara leading Alex and Maybe Even Never around the track. Both horses were nice two-year-olds and we are looking forward to them both this year.
Athollblair Boy
Athollblair Boy runs at Newcastle this evening in the 7:00. He runs again over 6 furlongs and Sophie Clements takes the rides, taking the 7lb off.
Best of luck to all connections.
Saxon Warrior
This is a 2 year old out of the first crop of Saxon Warrior. His grand-dam, Moth, came 3rd in the 1000 Guineas and 4th in the Oaks for Aiden O’Brien.
We’ve had snow all afternoon at Woodlands Stables so you can’t blame him for pitching down for the day!
2ND
WHAT A SUPER STAR!
Acklam Express runs an excellent race to finish 2nd in the Group 2 Blue Point Sprint for the second year running.
Only beaten 1 1/2 lengths by odds on favourite, Lazuli, he is certainly flying the flag for Team Tinkler out in Dubai.
Well done to all connections and the team at home, who help make all this possible.
Acklam Express
Acklam Express runs this evening at Meydan (3:45 UK time). It is a Group 2 over 5 furlongs, the same race he came 2nd in last year.
We are hopeful he continues his terrific run of form at Meydan. Best of luck to all his connections.
Alex Jary Winner
A big well done to one of our stable apprentices, Alex Jary, for riding his 5th career winner and first winner of 2022 at Chelmsford this evening.
He gave Cuban Breeze (David Evans) a great front running ride to win the 5f Apprentice Handicap.
17/02/22
Sometimes things don’t always go to plan!
Who needs stirrups anyway!
Athollblair Boy
Athollblair Boy heads to Newcastle this evening to contest the 6:15. He drops back in trip to 6 furlongs and Alex Jary is back on board, claiming 7lbs.
Best of luck to his connections.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
Muddy Horses
A two-year-old by Tamayuz enjoyed his time in the field yesterday. Toni looks shocked after we told her he needed brushing!
☀️
Acklam Express is definitely enjoying the sun.
Highs of 26 degrees today in Dubai. We woke up to -2 in Malton this morning, with a wind chill of -5.
Older Horses
All of our older horses are starting to have their first proper canters up Langton Wold Gallops.

Another Investment
Another Investment and his fan club.
He was a winner at York last year and we are really looking forward to him this year.
Acklam Express
Acklam Express has landed in Dubai and is reunited with his old pal, Rowan. He is now out of his two day quarantine and ready for his first canters around the track.
Colts
A string of colts around the trotting ring. Left to right, a Night Of Thunder and two Zoffany colts.
Tingleo
This is the mare, Tingleo, with her 2020 Zoffany colt at foot. Bred and sold by Cammidge Bloodstock, he is now turning into a lovely 2-y-o, now named Heart of Acklam.
He is the half-brother to last years two-time winner, Piastrella (Awtaad).
Athollblair Boy
Athollblair Boy heads to Newcastle this evening and gives Sophie Clements her first ride for the yard. Sophie claims 7lb and has a handful of rides under her belt for former boss, Karl Burke.
They contest the last race, 7:15, over 7 furlongs.
Best of luck to all connections.
WINNER
Our first winner of 2022 is ANOTHER BERTIE. What a great ride he was given by Faye at Southwell, winning by a head at odds of 80-1!
A big well done must go to his very patient owner, John Saville.
Isla Kai
Isla Kai is enjoying being back in training. He is truly a gentle giant!
