How stunning is this Roaring Lion colt? The resemblance to his late sire is incredible!
Totes Emosh
Totes Emosh runs at Southwell this afternoon, under Faye Mcmanoman. This is her first run in a handicap and we were pleased with the improvement shown in her last run.
We wish the best of luck to her owners, the Wolf Pack 3 and Partners.
Newcastle
We head to Newcastle this evening with 3 runners.
Big Things makes his second start in the 4:20 under Tom Eaves.
Cmon Cmon runs in the 6:20, whilst Bakr runs half an hour later, both under Faye Mcmanoman.
Best of luck to all connections.
Monday madness.
Monday mornings mean one thing, fresh horses. This Tamayuz yearling is clearly enjoying his Christmas break.
Any volunteers to ride him next week? This has definitely put me off!
Happy Birthday!
Today we wish happy birthday to our very own, Faye Mcmanoman. We hope you’re enjoying some deserved time off over Christmas after a record year!
Faye has ridden a personal best of 25 winners so far in 2021, including 17 on our very own horses.
Enjoy!
Merry Christmas
Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas from us all at Team Tinkler!
A big thank you to all the staff who are working today and everyone who has supported us this year.
Merry Christmas and happy New Year!
BIG Things
Big Things is looking pleased with himself after his morning canter. He has come out of his debut run well and we are looking forward to seeing him out again soon.
Bakr
Bakr enjoying a pick of grass with Jess after her run yesterday.
The Office.
What a morning on Langton Wold Gallops.
Bakr
Bakr runs today in the 7:30 at Southwell over 6 furlongs. Rowan Scott gets the leg up on her for the first time.
Best of luck to her connections.
Cmon Cmon
Cmon Cmon has come out of his race really well and and is very fresh at home! You will see him out again soon.
Happy Holidays!
Not On Your Nellie (red) and High Security (blue) are both enjoying their holidays, albeit a bit cold! Both were winners last year, at Catterick and Redcar respectively.
Yearlings.
Take a ride out with our yearlings. What a stunning day!
Six months ago we were enjoying a glorious Ladies Day at Ripon Racecourse.
This is where Coley’s Koko clocked up the second of her three victories last season. She was our joint-winning-most horse last season, alongside stable star, Isla Kai.
She was definitely pleased with herself that day.
Afternoon naps.
This is our Dandy Man x Thought Is Free colt. He’d just woke up from his afternoon nap and decided he didn’t look good enough for the camera!
Yearlings out & about.
These are two of our yearlings returning from a ride through the woods.
On the left is Lara with our Mehmas x Damask filly, and on the right is Faye with our Wootton Bassett x Broken Applause filly.
Both of these filly’s have classy siblings with peak OR’s of over 100. We are looking forward to both these fillys next season
Sunset.
A beautiful evening looking out the back of Woodlands Stables.
Cmon Cmon.
Cmon Cmon runs today in the 5:30 at Newcastle. He is coming back from a short break and he is dual course-and-distance winner. Faye Mcmanoman takes the ride. Best of luck to all connections.
Blame.
Blame has only has a handful of runners on this side of the Atlantic, but he is a very successful sire in America.
This list below shows "USA Broodmare sires as a percentage of Black Type Winners to Racing Age Offspring", and Blame is at the top, showing how well his offspring do when they go to stud.
This filly is the first foal out of Goodthingstaketime, who placed five times in Stakes races, amassing over £100,000 in career earnings.
Race Day.
We have two runners today:
Big Things (Bay) makes his debut today in the 4:00 at Newcastle under Rowan. He is a very scopey son of Dark Angel, who runs in a competitive renewal of this mile novice race. This race was won last year by Surefire, a subsequent Royal Ascot winner, and in 2017 was won by Gr. 1 scorer, Without Parole.
Totes Emosh (Chestnut) travels to Wolverhampton to make her third start in the 6:45 under Faye, who rides her on course for the first time.
Best of luck to all connections.
