A lovely filly by first-season-sire, Washington DC.

Washington DC won the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot and was second in the Abbaye at three. He was ‘‘all speed’’ according to trainer, Aiden O’Brien.

She is out of the Reel Buddy mare, Citron; the dam of four winners.

Nigel is already accustomed to the family, having trained half-brothers Citron Major and As If By Chance, who between them have won 10 races. Citron Major reached a peak OR92, whilst As If By Chance has continued to progress through his 3-year-old campaign.
