Delighted to ride a winner aboard Giant Steps at Catterick this afternoon. Thank you to connections for the oppurtunity!
Snow
A bitterly cold day yesterday! Me and Imperium Blue brave the elements in behind Rowan and Cottam Lane!
Pony Racing
No flat racing this week so we go pony racing instead! We won!
Sonic
A lovely evening to spend with my own own pony, Sonic!
Force Eleven
P2P
A change of scenery this weekend as we went point-to-pointing at Charm Park, Ayton. Also, the chance to baby sit Rowan Scott’s dog Toby (Left), whilst he enjoys much warmer weather in Dubai!
Ginger Jam
Ginger Jam enjoying his veggie kebab this morning!
Another lovely idea and gesture from Mr John Berry and his owners, showing solidarity with the Ukraine and in hope of raising vital funds for the British Red Cross appeal.
I will sport these colours on Turn of Phrase in the 7:30 at Wolverhampton this evening.
Southwell Abandoned
Southwell was abandoned yesterday because of Storm Eunice, so I spent the afternoon in the gym after riding out.
I did a long core and legs session and I’m definitely feeling it today!
Another Win, Another Bertie
Another Bertie does the business again, not quite the 80-1 surprise he was last time! It was his first attempt over 5 furlongs and he won comfortably in the end.
Thank you to connections for letting me ride him again, onwards and upwards!
Lights. Camera. Action.
Me and Ginger Jam are not ones to shy away from the camera!
Another Bertie
Can't believe this sweetheart tried so hard today to kick start the year. So proud of him, thank you to all connections.
Nagasaki Dream
Nagasaki Dream continues his consistent run of form for trainer, Alan Berry. It will be our day to shine soon ⭐️
Workout Time
A day off from race riding but a busy day nevertheless!
A busy morning in the yard followed by an evening core workout with Joanna Mason at Jack Berry House!
Gym
The home gym is coming along nicely!
Number 1000
So thrilled to be back aboard one of my old friends, Peachy Carnehan, tomorrow at Wolverhampton. He will be my 1000th ride, so quite a landmark I'm grateful to have achieved.
I massively appreciate all the support from all the owners and trainers. C’mon Peachy!
Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve could not have been spent in a better way. What a horse Wallace is!
Hunting prep.
Extremely grateful to Nicky Tinkler for lending me the beautiful Wallace to take hunting tomorrow. Here we are just getting a bit of practice in, he is a complete gentleman - think he can tell I'm a flat jockey though!
Silks
I feel truly privileged to be the first jockey to wear these colours.
Ups and Downs
It’s a good job I had my Velcro on this morning. Fortunately no-one was hurt in the making of this video, although she tried her best!
